About a thousand things to do and have to go ALL in with 100% focus on The Nike Blast this weekend, so babydolls, I'll have to advice you to tag along here instead for the next few days! Here is from The Nike Blast Norway last year during my Powerstrip class on the big stage. :)

I'll post stuff as I go along I promise! :) (And in addition to that my new phone won't let me blog straight from it.. Grrr.)

Oh my this weekend was a handful to say the least. Not only did I move to Ebbe's and my new faaaabulous roof top apartment (Thank you a zillion times Johanna and Victor for hooking me up with it! and thank you everyone who helped me move! <3) but it was also time for this year's POWERSTRIP kick off night with miy gurlz! Wiiihooo!!

I can't even describe all the fun of the night but let's just say that the dinner and party lasted a bit over nine hours.. Hehe.. And that also included a very well-behaved sleeping little baby princess as part of the company the whole time too! :) So let me just now sum up the evening in pics for you:

We started of with some bubbly at Swea Hof Bar at Elite Plaza Hotel. Here's the crew for the night: Noelle, Beckis, Sandra and Helene!

The restaurant choice for the evening was of course in the same line as our work ;) so I had made reservations at Puta Madre which is a super cool restaurant made up just like an old fashioned brothel!

And of course - as soon as we arrived it turned out Beckis and the owner knew each other! Of course.. she's such a celebrity that girl.. ;)

The drink menu was super funny made up as a newspaper..

And the wines were described as different women to choose from. ;) We decided on these cheeky bottles!

Great service and the cutest waitress!

And like most times we get together with Moving Arts Dance Productions for some reason we overwhelm each other with small gifts! This is me happy and excited.. ;)

Not that we were running low on the sweet stuff.. YuM! We had two big pieces to share - and that was a LOT. If you're heading here I totally recommend the black and white tart!!

After Puta Madre there was a LOT of giggles on our way to the next place..

Stop number three: The brand new Clarion Post hotel! Of course we just had to check it out to see what all the fuss had been about in town lately.. :)

Here someone clearly forgot to tell me we were all supposed to pull the playing-hard-to-get-face.. ;)

And as I was filming absolute nonsense (as always ;)) in the elevator - Hellan out of nowhere pulls out a hairspray and like a ninja in battle attacks a few poor hairs on her head like life and world peace was depending on it! Hihi.. Whaaaaat??!!

Food avaliable 'til late at night at Clarion Post - I LIKE!

And of course Hellan doesn't stop at buying us a round of drinks.. Champagne for the ladies!

Sam, the hotel customer relations person (or something) made sure everything was ok for the girls with the little sleeping beauty next to us..

Last stop went to the Atrium Piano Bar in Sas Radisson where we've spent a lot of times in our days. A nostalgic and chiiled out place to end a lovely evening with even more laughter. :)

These three girls. I don't know how they do it but they make me believe I can live 'til I'm a hundred years old - at least! Just by the joy they spread in this past weekend. Love you all massively!!! <3 More time spent with the family and everyone else that I love too in the coming year, thnak you! ;)

Then I took the little latina home to stay the night with me - just like the last time the day before I was moving - haha! But at least I made her a really yummy breakfast before we started moving to my new, beautiful and absolutely wonderful flat. :)

Every day at Sportlife head office where I work we always have a morning snack time together. It's super cozy to get together and have late brekkie together and just gossip for a moment before the day's full on workload kicks in. I truly love my collegues! :) Here Johanna stuffs her face (literally!) but as a matter of a fact she has lost over 5kgs only since January 2nd just by changing her diet and working out! You go girl! If there is a will, there is a way..

Another super funny collegue of mine is Bernie who acted just like a drug addict today fidgeting, stuttering and (self)convincingly telling everyone she had deactivated her Facebook account. Great, good for you babes! How long did she last? More or less exactly seven minutes..!! Haha it's a crazy world. ;)

And today I just had to show you another piece of the Nike spring collection! A super hot and equally cool windrunner in black and orange - LOVE it!

And tonight this is what we spent our time doing Ebbe and I.. :)

Oh yes and of course reading books over and over again. My not so favorite part is when he all of a sudden says: "Sing." Yup, it means I should not read but s i n g the story. Oh lord, and there's like a zillion pages left. But like any mom would do..

Just finished my Sh'Bam class for the evening about one and a half hour ago and since then I've been home to get some bags together, drive across town to Johanna and Victors place (which will be MINE on sunday!! :)) to leave my stuff and the summer tyres in the storage room. And on my way home I thought I m u s t change that stupid broken light on the car before I get fined some ridiculous amount for driving with just one light in this wintertime pitch black country...

Ok, now this might not be much to most. But I have never done it before, and to be honest - never really planned on doing it ever, but hey things change. So since the guy in the gas station couldn't go outside I tried myself. Not sure whether all the somewhat bad words I was t hi n k i n g actually might also have come out loud, cause the guy had opened the small window by the till and asked if I wanted him to guide me? IF??? For heavens sake - why do you think I'm at a gas station at eleven at night to change a f-ing light bulb I bought already several days ago?!? YES please..!

And so even though I realise I probably couldn't have done it without him I was soooo proud of myself when I actually made it!

Thinking I might fix something else tomorrow. Or build. Maybe with wood and a hammer. Yup, feels about right.

KICK OFF 2012 - Moving Arts Dance Productions!!

Wiiihooo!! Finally it's time! I'm taking my Powerstrip® Educators for a night on the town and jeeeez have I missed them. :) Last we did something together was in April last year when I took them to Madrid for fun and shopping. But now we'll be staying in Sweden. Might be cold and dark, but where we're going it won't matter. Starts off in the Plaza Bar at Elite Hotels but after that they don't have a clue.. ;)

I'm so looking forward to just having some free time chillin' and laughing with my homegirls. That happens way to seldom by the way. WAY to seldom.

Promise to self: Make sure to spend more time with loved ones during 2012. <3

Mission for tonight is to choreograph some more for my classes at the Nike Blasts, pay salary to some of my employees, pay invoices for some (more) stuff I (apparently) have ordered on Nikestore.com, decide and buy a sofa and bed online so that it gets delivered to my apartment fairly soon (four flights of stairs and no elevator - jippie..) and finally try and sort out the mess I've made around the house. :)

Well there, a great Saturday night as long as it ends with me cuddling up next to my little guy in the end. <3

Wiiihoooo!!! No more sickening early mornings, no more singing to Ebbe (and a whole other lot of people) on the morning bus, no more walking in snow storms, no more choosing flat shoes just cause I'm gonna pick up Ebbe at daycare. No more caring about lousy wheather!!

Because I got myself a car!! It's not new, it's not super shiny, it's not the coolest model (hehe) and it might not be everyone elses wet dream. But let me tell you this.

Rushed into the store to get snacks. Got a phone call. Went outside the store to talk. Went back in when I was finished on the phone. Got the stuff I wanted together and went to pay. Then what? Can't find wallet. P A N I C!! Wtf?! I know I just had it. Swear loud and wide about all stealing, immoral, low-life pieces of shit people in the world before I hear someone further back in line saying: "There's a wallet lying on the ice cream fridge." pointing two meters behind me.

Oh?? Yup there it was. Right next to the cottage cheese and right where I appearently just dropped (literally) everything I had in hand to take the call..

Must have been an important call you think. Sure. It was from the dentist's office answering my query with that they didn't think it was necessary for me to come in at all for another six months unless I really wanted to.

Re-start. Focus. And breathe.

On my way home I'm standing on the bus. It's not too late actually, 9.30pm, but absolutely pitch black outside. My stop is getting closer and I'm gathering myself and my bags together, checking that nothing is left behind. Like I always (try to) do every morning when I'm on the bus. But tonight as I stand in front of the doors I see myself doing something more than that in my window reflection. I pull my hood up and I tuck my hair in. Just like that. Without thinking about it.

Now why did I do that?

Because somewhere deep down I'm anxious. Maybe afraid even. And then I only have a three minute walk to my door from the bus stop. But surely so did a lot of the girls who we could all read about in the newspaper the following day. Who never got home that evening. Who never got to say goodbye to loved ones and who had to leave this world in pure horror.

So therefor I write this to everyone who is responsible for me being afraid to walk alone in the dark. I write this for every child who no longer has a mom - or a dad - because of what you've done. I hate the fact that although I have no idea why you are hurting so much that you have to hurt others, you still affect my life. I hate the idea of more money being spent on prison food then on school dining. I hate feeling the need to look over my shoulder all the way home. I hate being told to walk "with an attitude". I hate wondering if I should choose to wear pants instead of a skirt sometimes. I hate the feeling of late night running being out of the question. I hate being relieved whenever a male friend is going the same way as me so we could have company.

I hate you all. For making me tuck in my hair.

Sh'Bam day 1..

Yesterday was a blast! A superfun group of 27 becoming Sh'Bam instructors who are all doing a great job working and sweating like mad. :)

I love getting to try out the new Nike line but (of course) forgot to take outfit of the day pics so I borrowed one from Åsa instead. :)

And the pink Nike shorts that are super comfy to work out in appearently were too short for the gym I am teaching at this weekend. Preferably one was to wear tights underneath. Oh? Ok. They are not even hot pants or anything but ok. I do wonder if it would be the same if it were summer outside and everyone was walking around in shorts? Hm.

Last night I met up Micke from the trainer team and went for some good food at Vapiano! He is such a fun guy to hang out with. (Probably in bed with bleeding ears today after spending a lot more time than he's used to with this talkative miss Eriksson but he'll live. ;))

Old dog in old habits..?

As I was heading out from the hotel I took a quick tour into the buffet and grabbed a piece of brie to go - huuuungry. And tonight it hit me. I'm not used to this. And I'm not talking about the cheese. I'm talking about not being in a relationship. Cause as I was about to exit the hotel doors I automatically stopped, turn around and waited until the clerk at the reception looks up from his paperwork before I say:

"I'm heading out for a bit so I'll see you later." as I waved goodbye and then left.

There's no need to say that the clerk looked more than puzzled by this sudden reveal of what is to him a totally unnecessary piece of information. And it was probably the glimpse of his startled facial expression that I saw briefly just as I turned my head that made me reflect over this at all. Oh well. Never mind. Tomorrow is a new day! I'll go for just "bye" then I think..

But on the other hand I might just keep on doing it. One day maybe I'll be talking to someone lonely and that someone might just think of it as something nice. :) Who knows?

And wouldn't that possibility just make it worth it, I wonder.

Let me tell you ONE thing for sure - Nike's new spring collection a b s o l u t e l y ROCKS!! The colours and the designs are nothing but cool, edgy and somewhat retro loving. :) If you wanna make a statement with your training Nike is aaaall you!

Heading upp to Sthlm for Blast rehearsals and a SH'BAM module this weekend and I'll try and remember to snap some outfit of the day pics for you so you can see what I mean! :)

My little guy decided to get up at 4.50am this "morning" so there wasn't much else to choose from. Zzz.. But the mood he's in this Friday the 13th could not poosibly be any sunnier! Sung his way all the way through breakfast and still is here at the bus stop. <3

And even though my eyes are more red than Santa this morning I just cannot be anything but truly happy for this tiny but infinite bundle of joy who came into my life on February 18th 2009. And for the fact that I get to share the parenthood with the most beautiful person inside and out. Not everyone is that lucky.

Grateful. Again. :)

Fell asleep early as I was putting Ebbe to bed hence woke up now feeling wide awake. Oh bugger. I know I should just try and fall back asleep but it's kinda difficult. Got up to the toilet, to the kitchen for some water, checked new message on Whatsapp and FB (not clever I know since checking the phone always awakens the brain even more) and now I'm seriously thinking of getting up and baking another "sticky chocolate cake" as Ebbe and I did earlier this evening. Mmm..

I mean why not? If there is something that really relaxes and recharges me it's baking and that's the whole point of sleeping right? :)And I am giving myself biiiig time cred for not doing night time online shopping which is usually a great talent of mine usually. Slowly I'm ticking things off my to do list and slowly I can feel the breath coming into my body. It's all heading in the right direction. Lesson learned. Plan ahead, motherf***er. Plan ahead. Meaning days off too..

Then getting help by a real professional ice skating trainer in Petra whilst Åsa "bambi" Eriksson tried her rusty skills..

Went alright I thought! Petra dissed my not-too-sporty-outfit for the day but we sure were colourful at least. ;) My purple Nike down coat is a favourite!

And before getting off the ice we made sure I'd take a proper ice skating photo without silly ear muffs and in a classic pose set by Petra! A good student as long as I was standing still.. haha

And this lovely day ended with a walk down to the beautiful sea. Sweden might be cold at times but a l w a y s oh so stunning. <3

Tired. Forgetting things. Not quite catching on. Keep repeating myself. Nope, no can do no more. Have to cut things off the to do list.. But WHAT??

- Learn BODYBALANCE and BODYPUMP and refresh SH'BAM for releases next week.
- Prepare education material and burn six Powerstrip®-dvd:s for the Instructor Module in Norway.
- Practice Nike classes and make warmups and choreograph team-class.
- Learn all choreos on both sides. Right and left, left and right! X-)
- Put together play-lists for all classes and send to DJ.
- Get subs for classes I can't teach while I'm away in Jan and Feb.
- Find out where my SH'BAM 7 kit is gone!! Lost in the mail.. Grrr!
- Prep for Nike rehearsals and SH'BAM module in Stockholm next weekend.
- Pay invoices.
- Make invoices.
- Start planning for the BIG move at the end of the month. Engage a moving firm. Order at least(!) a bed to sleep in.
- Put together short SH'BAM brief for all Nordic SH'BAM trainers.
- Work full time.
- Do fun stuff with Ebbe! <3
- Meet friends and family.
- Have some sort of a life outside of fitness...?

I am though. To the fullest. Loving every day of it and even though I have to blame whoever stupid f**k who planned my schedule for Jan and Feb, I still can see that it's all good things heading my way and I can still feel grate gratitude for everything I get to experience. I'm just gonna try and experience at a bit slower pace for the rest of 2012. ;)

A weird mix..

The day started off with the little make-up artist once more.. :)

Then lunch time cinema!

A trip to IKEA with Ebbz and grandma. Got some stuff organized and finally found a bed firm/hard enough (absolutely HATE soft beds) and some sort of latex foam matress. 2012 w i l l be the year of great sleep (eventually) ! I'm sure. ;)

Not too many exciting sofas, but alright. Gonna keep looking though..

Ebbe taking a sausage in the caf afterwards and for some reason just would not stop staring at the girl next to him..

And so she noticed after a while so she finally leaned over smiling and asked: "And what are you eating litte friend? Is it good?" And what did my utterly well behaved little son reply you think? Well, he didn't. He showed her.. :)

Anyhow - now show time! Last day without audience. Tomorrow is dress rehearsal..! Yay!

Sigh. It was good. It was getting so good! Why not now? Weird. The sleep dysfunction is back. It's 1.43 am and I'm up. And not just up. Shopping. Online. Some people might get up and eat when they can't sleep. Or drink. Or read. Or watch TV. But not me. I shop. So far it's been everything from UGGs to shoes to an iPhone and today (tonight?) t-shirts. Eight of them to be exact. That's the thing with Nike Sportswear. Reaaaally hard just to get one. They are both gorgeous and funny AND crazy comfortable!

Love 'em. But not loving the not sleeping. Have to do another try now. Cause the little bugger is fast asleep meaning he is sure to be wide awake bright and early. And that's when I most of the time feel like someone has shoved a ton of gravel under my eye lids..

I'll let you know how it goes. Not that you care. Just because I want to. :)

I laugh sooooo hard at this crazy event every year when I'm choreographing the cabaret, but if anyone for a minute should think that's it's a piece of cake - think again. For everyone involved. The performers give it their ALL and work twelve hours a day straight now the last two weeks. Hard. Core. They deserve a reward! That's my opinion at least.

Now my fingers are so tired I can't write another word. Tomorrow it's BODYPUMP in the morning and Lyrical Contemporary in the afternoon. A GOOD day class wise! :)

Some people say that the entire year is determined on the New Years Day. That if you have a good day, then the whole year will be great - and of course the opposite! :)

Well, in short my day was like this:

1. Long sleeep-in with me myself and I. Mm..
2. Yummy brekkie in the sofa with the telly.
3. Spent three hours choreographing a new Powerstrip® at the gym! Went well. :)
4. Skyped with Ebbe and Henke!
5. Went to Micke and Beckis to be spoiled with both salad and sweet stuff - all delicious!

6. Home to cook dinner and then a movie!
7. Treated myself to an iPhone 4S online! Arrives within a week - wiiih!

New Years Eve 2011!

New Years Eve was spent at lovely Anna and Peter's place in Särö and it was the perfect evening! Anna, little Ebba, Beckis and me before dinner..

And like no New Years Eve party before things sort of change when there are kids involved. I never thought I'd be able to say: Floorball match in Karen Millen butterfly dress with matching shoes - CHECK! ;)

And while I was enjoying myself with friends, Henke and Ebbe were celebrating the new year in Norway with Ebbe's grandma and Roger. We always send each other pictures and videos when one of us are away with the little one for a longer period and I just love these ones! The guys messing around in the winter scene! :)

Welcome hoooooome on Tuesday! I'll probably hug the little one 'til he squeaks.. <3

A truly blessed year professionally!

This year has been full on hardcore!! Amazing. Scary! Challenging. Euphoric! Loving. Griefing. Merging. Parting. Fun! Crazy! Tough!! I could go on.. But the word overwhelming sure comes to mind. Phew! What a year!

In January my biggest jobs were the awesome NIKE BLASTS in Sweden and Norway! Sooo much fun and I can't wait for this year's BLASTS in both Sweden, Norway and Finland! Yay!

In February and March I had Powerstrip® Instructor Educations in Stockholm and Gothenburg!

April - my busy season private classes with Powerstrip® for bachelorette parties starts and I teach up to five strip classes on one day. S-l-u-t-t-y! :) I teach Bootywalk on top - stripaerobic in heels at the Sportlife Convention. There were som HOT HOY HOT ladies and ents on the floor I can say.. ;)

And this is also the month I start working out with a Personal Trainer. (Thank God I'd say now in retrospect knowing what the summer had in store for me! ;))

May - I teach Sh'Bam modules and I treated my two dear Powerstrip® Educators Beckis and Sandy to a staff trip to Madrid to party, shop and just hang out together! <3

This is also the month when I quit my full time job as a group fitness manager and also the blessed month of The Les MIlls Trainer Summit in Rome where I did not only have the luxury to hang with all the fab and fun Nordic and European trainers but also where Phillip Mills came up to me at breakfast on my second day there and asked if I wanted to be a part of Les Mills Pump!!! :) :)

June - Another Sh'Bam module and my lovely Sandra went to Norway to do a Powerstrip® Instructor Education. And I went on my first trip to New Zealand to work with Les Mills International!! Wiiih!!

July - I literally work my ass off rehearsing, scripting and training! And I fall back in love with PUMP even more. <3 And maybe not just me.. ;)

August - Back to New Zealand for the filmings of Les Mills Pump! One of the absoultely most fun experiences of my life - EVER!! Thank you thank you thank you. Humble and grateful for getting the opportunity to be a part of this.

And as if that wasn't enough I made friends for life. <3 <3 <3

We managed to make time for BODYJAM filmings where we were in the crowd! FUUUN!!!

Dinner at the Mills' residence. I think I can say e v e r y b o d y was there!

(And somehow I remember some of us ended up dancing in the hallway. Without music. With chairs. Hm.. ;))

September was going OFF with Super Saturday! I was hosting it together with two babes from the Nordic trainer team - Dorre and my Finnish twin Susanna! Love!

I also had a crazy fun time on stage teaching Sh'Bam 5 with Rach and Dorre! :) Happy memories.

And even if it felt that experience alone could last a lifetime, September had more to offer! I was amongst the ones who got to go to Los Angeles to shoot the infomercial for Les Mills Pump! We had such a good time and were truly spoiled during our stay there. Luxury hotel, luxury restaurants, luxury treatment. Could one get used to that or what?? (Spoiled brats, I know.. ;))

And after the whooole project was finalized on our part we took off to the Mega Quarterly in Anaheim, CA to present classes with the rest of the awesome West Coast trainer team! I taught SH'BAM and BODYBALANCE - great fun and a really cool experience!

And then I was - believe it or not - on stage for a short while even in the BODYCOMBAT class! Wiihoo - this little dancer working the jabs! ;) With a very colourful outfit I must say! :)

And that night the Les Mills party was at our hotel, The Hilton Anaheim, and the next day you could easily say we didn't do much else except use the hotel roof top pool area. Chiiiiilllll...

Then we all headed out to a rented house in Venice beach to just hang out and enjoy each others company for a few days. No stress in sight. :)

The people I got to know this summer - from all over the world, are now closer friends to me than I ever thought possible in such a relatively short period of time. We've shared so much and have spent hours working, encouraging, feedbacking and supporting each other. It's impossible not to get close friends after a journey like that. <3

October - back in Sweden and back in business teaching dance classes, BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE and SH'BAM classes + modules full on!

November - Another Sh'Bam module, more classes and started working full time as Group Fitness Manager at Sportlife West Coast again with my great and fun colleague Sara!

December - Starting rehearsing for the NIKE BLASTS 2012 and working as the choreographer for a New Years Cabaret - creative in a different way! Also thankfully I went on a nice and relaxing vacation with family and one of my girlfriends to the Canary Islands for a week. And my little blond guy got even more blonde in the sun!

Now just awaiting the new year to come - exactly one year from when this photo was taken.

Now I don't know everything it will bring professionally. But what I do know you can read here from my website!

I just know I would love for you to join me. <3 You readers mean more to me than you think and having you to write to in good and bad times gives me a feeling of warmth and belonging. Even though I have not even met most of you. But hopefully maybe we do one day? :)

Whether it's something needing to come out of the system or energy that needs to be let in I'm so grateful I can always fall back on my background and passion for what I spent my days full-time learning, performing and teaching for about thirteen years - contemporary dance. If there is one thing that channels my energy and lets me clear my head and mind more than anything else it's by moving the body. Unbeatable. Me in a studio barefoot with nothing but music and the floor is probably similar to what outdoor running does for many people. It rids stress and anxiety and leaves you calm and focused. Focused on what's important. Really.

Cause no matter if your day might be white or black you'll soon realize that there are thousands more days to come - in all different colours of the rainbow! And that's half the beauty of it, isn't it?

I can see clearly now. The rain is gone.

Rise and fall..

But in the other order. I KNOW deep down that's how it all works. We fall. We get up again. We fall again. And we get up once more. But sometimes the fall seems a little bit steeper and the crash a little more harsh. That's when you start to lose small pieces of yourself each time. One of my very strengths is to always see the good in things. In life. But there is the occasional day when I'm struggling. When my brain plays mind games on me and I have to declare war on my thoughts to get to the place where I can see my life for what it really is. Great. Truly amazing and worth being thankful for - even the less good days. But the odd day, like today it feels like some thoughts are overwhelming and that the mind game takes no prisoners, just casualties.

Life is a promise. Fulfill it.

Went to Henke to leave Ebbe and to have a coffee with his fam. <3 And of course Ebbe got even more gifts..

And the afternoon was spent at Sportlife Ullevi - well at least three hours - choreographing my lyrical contemporary to the Nike Blasts in Sweden, Finland and Norway in February. I finished the choreo and it feels really good but I know I'll make some changes still - I always do. :)

Ok so Chrismas candy done - with Ebbe - so hope they taste better than they look. ;) All gifts bought (but forgot the giftpaper so have to go out tomorrow morning and get some. Duh! Rhymes almost done to every single gift and bags are packed since we're staying the night at my brother's house. Doing the last load of washing now and the rest of the apartment looks quite alright so feels good. Just gonna take a long shower (wish I had a bath tub right now) and try to let some of the tension I've built up in my neck the last weeks loosen up a bit.

Les Mills Pump trio having mini X-mas in Stockholm!!

What a pair of absolutely great two days in Stockholm I've had! Yesterday rehearsals with Åsa all day and in the evening we met up Lina, Jericho and Åsa's husband Freddie for dinner at Mamadou. A great place - if in Stockholm it's definitely worth a visit! Yum! An evening filled with stories, gossip and laughter and it once more made me realize how blessed I am with great friends all around. <3

Back at the hotel that evening Jer and I had some drinks in the bar and up in the room she TOTALLY spoiled me with gifts (except for the UGGS and the knickers I asked her buy for me)..

In the package was perfume, gift cards, notebooks, pictures, a Beverly Hills Nike t-shirt, some suuupershort shorts (hello BODYPUMP-chockers!) and much more! She's mad. Thank you thank you thank you babe!

And the UGGS I ordered are sweeeeeet to say the least! (Even though Petter persistently kept calling them UGGly during the whole next day. Haha we can't all love the same things, right?)

Oh yes, and she gave me ear muffs too! I freaking f-ing LOVE them!

The Petter, Jericho and Åsa crew out on the town all day Thursday! Them two can make the dullest day become magic xmas spirit-wise. Gift shopping, food and snowflakes - NOW I'm ready for this Christmas weekend and all that comes with it. :)

Petter treated us to lunch! I had pea soup and then we all had pancakes mmmmm....

And what did Petter find in one of the stores??? A BUFFALO!! (Hahaha for all LM-peepz out there..! ;))

And since we actually couldn't seem to find a place that served glühwine at all(!?) Petter instead invited us to his parents' place for some "Xmas-fika". We got to meet the sweetest mom and dad and they sure had some funny stories to tell about Petter as a kid.. :)

There's two sides of every ..one?

I'm at the train. I have wifi. For my regular blog readers you know what this means. Åsa's brain goes into thought frenzie and it all ends up here. But that's ok. What's a blog about anyway? :)

Everyday at the office I'm met by a little blondie as you probably know by now - Sara. She is the one who has to deal with me and with all my moods no matter if the mood at the time is very sociable or n o t. But that's ok. She's one of those people who can sense when it's time to back off and give me some space or when to try and make me laugh or when to go right on and ask a question that might provoke me or wake me up.

And that's more or less how you have to be if you spend a lot of time around me nowadays. Versatile. Cause my world most certainly goes up and down. I feel good and my heart and soul is definitely grateful for everything in my life and for my health right now, but that doesn't mean I still have my downs. And I mean DOWNS. The hardest thing about them is that I can't predict them. I could be on the bus, in the copy room at work, in a class at the gym and boom - there it comes. I fall. Well not literally ;) but that's how I feel. If I can I try to sit down or hold onto something and just breathe. If I'm around people I try and hold back and work through it but if alone what's the point? I just let the tears come. And sometimes I don't even necessarily feel all that sad at the same time, but I just can't stop crying.

The other day on the tram I had a moment like that and I thought to myself "Fuck it, let them pour." So I just sat there with my sad face and sniffling nose and let people stare. (Trust me - they really do.) The guy opposite me looked truly worried after a while so I tried to smile at him, but it probably just looked more like I was doing a funny face cause he just quickly looked away instead. Oh well. But it feels good to cleanse the system. Too bad I always get a bit distant at the same time cause not only did I pass my stop and went 20 minutes in the wrong direction, but I also managed to miss my stop AGAIN on the way back!?! Seriously.. Took me one and a half hour to get home. But the good thing was that once I got home my mood was up again! :)

So what do I wanna say really? I don't know. Well, maybe two things.

1) My friends and family. I would be or have n o t h i n g without you. There is nothing so obvious as how loving people in general are when you are feeling down. I feel the love and support from so many people and bundles of you have offered to help, hug, talk, anything - and I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. I love you all.

2) The second thing I want to say is this: Me on Facebook is - like for many others - for fun interaction, keeping up with friends and use it for marketing myself, my classes and my blog etc. It's all 'gold and green forests' as we say in Swedish. All smiles and happy faces and a bit 'oh my life is soooooo exciting'! And sure at times it is! :) But if you want the real Åsa, you need to read between the lines, which is spelled out here on my blog. There are often just as many shitty days as there are brilliant (even if them too have their charm) and I too hurt and hate and fall and fail. A lot. Just like everyone else. But we get up. And try again.

Now I know this is nothing new and could probably apply to most people, but sometimes I believe some of us look at everyone's "glossy cover" a bit too much and miss the actual content of peoples lives. Which is fine as long as you don't think any less of your own life because of it. Not to compare in a destructive way. No-one has a perfect life. Or, actually everybody does! It goes hand in hand. :)

So Merry Christmas everyone. Put some thought and heart in what you give of yourself to others. And f**k the glossy wrapping.

Stockholm!

Sorry I've been lousy at updating the blog this week. Yesterday I left home for work(s) at 07.52 and got back in exactly 22.52. Then packing, cooking, dishes and shower before falling into bed.

Now I'm sitting on the bus to catch the morning train headed for Stockholm. It's gonna be a lot of fun but lord am I tired. Zzzz.. I'm so longing for saturday and to spend Christmas with my family having the entire weekend off! <3 Today it's rehearsals with Åsa Fornander all day and by lunch our Nike collegue Robert Sörensen will join us. And later on tonight I'll take Åsa's street class :) then back to the hotel to meet Jericho (Yay!) and get ready for a girls night out with Åsa, Jer and my stupid funny Nike boss Lina!

And tomorrow after brekkie Jer and I will be meeting up 'the swedish chef' Petter to catch up and gossip since we haven't all been together since this summer! Here is the last breakfast together in New Zealand this summer.. :)

And what better day to do that then 22nd of December 2012?!?! And why??

Cause tomorrow is the day for the BIG launch of Les Mills Pump!! Yiiihaaaa!!

Ok, so even though I dreamt myself back quite a few times during the day it was till quite alright at my desk still..

Ebbe at Las Palmas airport (somehow managed to take apart the café fence? oh well)..

Couldn't care all that much cause I was busy enjoying the first decent cup of coffee in a week..(!)

The little guy tries haaaard to get to watch just one more movie on the plane: "Pleeeeeease mummy..?"

Works well as a snack at work, but at a plane you do get some funny looks when taking up a head of cauliflower out of the bag..

And getting in early to work this morning to do a BODYPUMP class by myself before start, I was met by a collection of gifts at my desk! Happy Åsa :)

Worked a long day today from 8am til 9pm but took a BODYCOMBAT class in between just to recharge so worked out fine energy wise in the end still. :)

Hope you had a good day too! Now I'm off to bed cause tomorrow is another long one. After Sportlife head office all day I'm heading down to do some cabaret choreographing all night. What is it they say - Sleep is overrated?

Take charge people!

Everybody who knows me know that I feel very strongly for womens' rights to express themselves in all different ways including dressing, dancing, behaving - whatever! As long as it means doing it for themselves and not for an audience, money, approval etc..

Now the pic of my friend Jericho here, from Les Mills Pump I believe has had some people wondering about the small outfits. "Why does she have to wear that little clothing?" "Do you have to be half naked to promote fitness?" etc.. The answer is of course: No, you don't have to. And neither did Jericho or any of the rest of us. At no point during shooting Les Mills Pump were we forced to wear anything we didn't like. If said we didn't like something we just went to wardrobe and changed it. We were asked about how we felt in our outfits and listened to. So there.

I always wear short shorts or tights for my BODYPUMP classes. A l w a y s. And that's because I want people to see the exact technique and alignment but also(!) show them what results you get from BODYPUMP! I thank BODYPUMP for the look of my legs for sure - 100%. And proud thereof cause it's all hard work behind it. :) If hot at summer I'll wear a tank top. No biggie. I'm at a g y m.

When buying a home dvd you don't have the same access to first hand looks or info if you want to ask the instructor anything during or after workout, meaning it's important to show as much as you can on the dvd. And YES that includes results and technique. And YES it is possible for women to get muscle definition without the bulk with Les Mills Pump. And YES, you will get results if you work hard! And YES, of course everyone who's accomplished something is proud and eager to help more people go the same way by inspiring them! At least that's my hoping. So to the one's of you who get inspired by hard work and great results - good for you! You will succeed whatever your goal. With the right mindset only the sky is the limit..!

For the few(?) of you who I guess also might think for example fishing and sailing is the same(!) thing - just as an "exotic dancer" and a contemporary dancer in a sports bra and hotpants OR Jericho during a Les Mills Pump class represents the same thing just because they all show a lot of skin? DIG DEEPER. What is really bothering you? What's the real reason you react so strongly without even reflecting on the (huge) differences of "nakedness" in different areas of discussion? Maybe you have something in your life you need to address? And what better opportunity than RIGHT NOW?

If I were you I'd ask myself this:

Would you choose a hairdresser with trashy hair?
Would you trust a dentist with bad teeth?
Would you consult a surgeon without recommendations/renommés of great results?
Would you buy a fitness dvd where the promoted results of muscle definition aren't even visible, but instead all covered up?

So cut yourself some slack and think for a second. No matter what it might be - if there is something in life that constantly triggers you and always seem to push those negative buttons of yours? Take charge. Raise your eye gaze. See the real problem and deal with it. There are no shortcuts. Just dedication and commitment. When is YOUR time to start?

Since Ebbe and I both LOVE the sun and lazy summer days at the country house by the lake..

..we just cannot wait for tomorrow and to get on the plane to take us down to Gran Canaria and our fab hotel together with the rest of my family and my beloved friend, comedian and actress Helena! She's exactly one day younger than me and we go waaay back and always have a lot of (crazy) fun together! And she speaks spanish! Unlike Ebbe who just pretends.. ;)

My stressed body and soul are so looking forward to coming back to this view for morning- and evening walks..

And of course - maaaany hours just like this too! :) With spf30 at least. Taking no stupid risks.

I'm sure I can't keep myself from blogging so won't even say that I'll take a blog break for a week. (Has that ever worked for me?) I love having you along and it's actually very relaxing to put into pictures and words just what's on my mind at the moment. Therapy 'light', I'd say. :)

One day but felt like three. So tired right now. Just got back from a meeting at a New Years Cabaret that I'm choreographing and even though it always comes together in the end it usually does feel a bit overwhelming at first.. But we'll see - I'm excited to see the premiere already! :)

This morning started out with my lovely co-worker Sara brought me/us a gift! Yay! (A great way to start a Monday - should be the start of every week for everyone I reckon.)

It was the cutest pink notebook! (Forgot to take a pic - duh!) And the purpose? To eternalize all the crazy stupid funny hilarious quotes that us two blondes blurt out of our mouths on a daily basis. I've already filled in three quotes and I KNOW there's more to come! ;)

And this evening as I was a bit(!) too tired on the tram I missed my stop. Grr.. But didn't matter since the same Sara is on fire when it comes to WhatsApp-messages and she entertained me the whole way home.. :)

Felt good with some company over the phone. Not my favourite hoods to live in, these. Longing for my "real" apartment in February! But that's just the area I'm talking about though - right now I'm inside the cozy apartment with some candles and a cup of tea just trying to unwind.. Nice.

Tomorrow is another loooong day. I so hope the sleep fairy comes to me tonight. She comes more and more nowadays, but still not all good. If a get more than four hours straight I consider it a good night.. Oh well. Could be worse, right?

SH'BAM. Do I love the program? Check. Do I love the music? Check. Do I love the moves. Check. But all of this still would be nothing without one thing.

Oh my did they rock my world today or what!? About 70 talanted instructors on the floor on the first ever quarterly workshop in Sweden! The joy they give by their bodies, sweat, smiles and laughs is life-prolonging (well, it is a word now :)). As always when I get excited I talk too(?) much, smile until my lips get stuck on my teeth and tend to fall off the stage at least once. But it's ALL good.

I LOVE this.

I love the fact that I get to work with what I know in the end makes this world a healthier, happier and more peaceful place. I'm convinced that if politicians had dance as a compulsury part of their weekly schedules there would be more communication and less conflicts all around. Now you might say I'm naive and way out in the blue. Sure, maybe. And maybe not. What du you think the inventor of the airplane said to himself as the idea first hit him? That "it'll never work"..???

There's a secret to all life-changing ideas and inventions. It's something everyone possesses the power to do. It's an action that in itself can n e v e r fail.

TRY.

So whether it's about changing your body, your habits, your life or the world it all comes down to that. Try. Fall and rise. Try again. So if you are now one of those people who somehow got the idea in your head that you can't dance? Think again. If you just try Sh'Bam will do the rest. <3

Everybody knows. Everyone! You give a smile - you get a smile. You spread out discontent and anger on every outbreath - you're bound to breathe the same energy right back in again. So then WHY is it so hard?? The people on and by the tram this morning would in no way have had any trouble competing in the Championship of Grumpyness that's for sure.. Now I get that there are lots of bad things in this world that people battle daily with, but still. Luckily I've been (so far) blessed by being at very good health in life and therefor I'm really grateful. Maybe that's why I today found myself observing instead of joining in?

And on my sad days when I just want to pull the duvet over my head and stop existing I try and see that day out and wait for the next one. Lately as you know those days for me have been about alteady made and making new choices in life more than anything else and silly as it might be, I find comfort in the smallest things.

This chain I got myself some time ago and I think it's genious..

Just packed the last bits and pieces for my Sh'Bam QW in Stockholm tomorrow and am about to hop in the shower. Have been sticky and yucky all the evening since I got home from BODYPUMP QW with my talented collegue Sandra earlier on tonight. (Isn't that a reeeeally common issue in the fitness world? To get into the actual shower after coming home is so much harder than the workout itself, right??) BODYPUMP 80 r o c k e d but oh my lord - the lunge track. Be prepared my friends, be prepared. It gonna hit hard that's for sure.. Ouch.

And speaking of ouch, my pulled hamstring has really been bothering me lately so next week I'm calling my naprapath. Need help if I'm gonna last and since I have Nike Blasts in both Sweden, Finland, Norway and Sh'Bam modules coming up pretty soon into the new year I need to take care of myself.

Cherish your body people. Celebrate all the things that do work. And breathe love and hope into the rest. I wish for all of those who don't feel well around me get better soon. <3

A sort of Christmas baking..

Yesterday I finally saw my friend Helena after way too long. As usual. But instead of beating ourselves up about that we just enjoyed this longed for lunch date instead!

And as she often does she brought me a small gift! :) Thanx babe.

The one and only piece of Xmas ornament I have in my temporary apartment right now. And so it'll stay over the holidays I think..

Then later last night Ebbe and I made slow carb dinkel scones and this morning we brought half of them to daycare!

And good thing that was since it seems no matter how early I get up (have pushed it to 05.20 now) and no matter how much I plan everything the night before and no matter how much I try and get Ebbe moving in the morning, we a l w a y s seem to get to daycare more or less late?! I HAVE to fix that. I absolutely love Ebbe's teachers and I don't want to be disrespectful by constantly being late.

Improvement coming up!

Have a good friday and weekend now all! For me it's BODYPUMP quarterly ed. tonight and tomorrow I'm heading to Stockholm to teach the quarterly for Sh'Bam 6 and on Sunday I'll be doing the same thing all over again - in Gothenburg with Annika Sjöö this time! Yay!

BODYJAM and bodychange?

Just got the BODYJAM 59 release and as I opened it up I saw a little confused Swede (not the veg) inside the cover. Fun memories from this summer!

Well I'll have to admit I didn't really so much get in the picture just being me but cause I was wearing the new clothing line from LMI! ;) Never mind - if you like me love taking pics, you don't really mind the reason do you? ;)

And on a whole different note I do have to confess something. I've been a carb lover my WHOLE life - and don't get me wrong, I still very much am! But this lowcarb-thing really does work! I eat loooots of dairy products, veg, protein and fats (both good and bad fats) during Sunday through Thursday and the eat whatever I want on Fridays and Saturdays. (Sometime the weekend lasts from Thursday to Sunday, but never mind that's not the plan anyhow. :)) I n e v e r go hungry and I don't miss the carbs cause I get it every week anyway. And then again I'm not especially strict cause I have my own rules meaning you can also eat fruits and veg growing below ground, (which I've learned you're not doing if you're on a proper LCHF-plan..?). Add at least three trainings a week and no cheating and you can almost soon compare with the big boys! (Well, maybe that's nothing to strive for but you get the point.)

So the carb love story is of course still on but more exclusive on special occasions.. :)

(And apparently this picture does not only show that you can get into shape by working out and changing your diet but as you can see also how far up a C-section can go and that hernias (above the belly button in my case) you get during pregnancy doesn't go away by themselves. Grr.. Any other questions we can weave into this post perhaps? Wondering about sleep deprivation or body fluids regarding pregnancy or child birth?? Please send me a private message instead.. Too messy.)

Hockey night!

Tonight it was hockey time with Sara and Mia! Long time since I was at a game so actually looked forward to it even though I'm not all that into sports.. :)

We started off well and sat down to watch the first period (pic borrowed from Sara)..

I cheered and boo:ed for a good ten minutes and thought I was well into it until it suddenly hit me and I leaned over to Mia and asked: "Frölunda are the ones in the red shirts right?" Shit, you just can never be too sure can you..

In the break the VIP-room was mega crowded so we just waited out the worst busyness and then sat down in peace and quiet when people started heading back to their seats for the second period. We on the other hand enjoyed bartender/waiter Oscar's (or Jeppe or whatever his name was) Ceasar salads and red wine instead. :)

Then we thought we'd better watch at least a few more seconds of hockey that evening - since that was the reason we came come to think of it. And so we headed back to squeeze our way back in. Easier said than done though..

Well at our seats with about two minutes left of the game and as the opponents did way to many goals in a row I thought Sara was making well a bit more noise than necessary when the "other" team was winning.

- "Sara! You are cheering for the other team, you know!?"
- "No Åsa, that's the team I'm cheering for and that's the reason we're here at all. Maybe you wanna look around you..?"

Oh and there it was. Quite clearly we were not in a red part of the audience. We were in the middle of the white team's cheering zone. Well done, Eriksson. Nicely done. Next time perhaps just open you eyes and shut your mouth a bit earlier? Just an idea though.

Sleeping experiment gone bad..

Woke up to an absolutely stunning morning, even though the expression 'woke up' feels like a stretch since I never actually went to sleep. Crappy sleepdysfunctional woman. How hard can it be? I'm knackered all day and feel like I could fall asleep in a second but when I actually lie down at night I'm f***ed. Wide awake.

But on the bright side I become a kick-ass negotiating little biatch during daytime. In meetings with a sleep deprived Eriksson you better be ready to get to the point and do it fast. I've had quite a lot of phone salesmen calling me lately and my collegue is just laughing at the accelerating hostility from my side.

Well whatever things could be a lot worse, I know. I'll just continue learning to drink coffee and I'll be just fine in the end I'm sure.

Bring the Monday on. Try and bite me.

We waited ou the rain before we headed out today. And saw a little cute white cat flown up in a tree.. :)

In the afternoon Sara and Mia came for a hamburger feast! And even though I had bought big salad leafs to work the LCHF way I had also bought buns just in case - and who was I kidding? If they're right there on the table of course I'm gonna have one. :)

But hamburgers are messy so when I brought out the cam there sure was a moment of giggly mouth wiping..

..before the girls were ready for the usual smile picture!

And then of course - dessert! :)

Ebbe woke up in the very best of moods and spent the evening dancing around in front of Kidz Eurovision Contest on the telly until he crashed in his favourite chair..

Wheater is absolutely shitty outside so we'll just hang around indoors for a bit more, but worst case we still have to get out and get soaked since I have to do some grocery shopping before two other blondes come join me here in my little apartment for dinner tonight!

Today Ebbe and I met up his grandma and granddad for a Christmas market near where I'll be living come February. (CAN'T wait to move btw!!) And the thing our whole family like best? Trying our luck at the lotteries..

And yes, the little guy was born with his fair share of luck. Happy guy with his winnings..

After that - snack time! Good thing I do eat carbs in the weekend.. Sugar coma here we go!

On our way home in the bus Ebbe frowned at me and started shouting that he wanted his "napp" (pacifier)!

And he kept shouting and didn't really listen at all until I overvoiced him: "Dude! It's in your mouth already!" The look on his face when he realized..

After taking it out to make sure I wasn't lying he just put it happily back in again. Bless.

The afternoon was spent cleaning the apartment and playing dentist with Ebbe. Not my favourite game but hey, it makes him happy. :)

And now we just got back from a delicious and fun party evening at Annikas and Michaels place! They're so much fun and I can't wait to do the Sh'Bam quarterly together with her next weekend!

Now a glass of red in the couch watching Ice Age 1 with Ebbe! A frikkin g r e a t Saturday. :)

I love it! And I love the message: Träna. (And for my lovely foreign readers that means: Work out.) Plain and easy. Cause that sums up so much of what I believe in.

My health tips of every day:

2. See the good.
3. Exercise.

Might not make you great, rich and famous but it sure will get you through your days on a more cheerful note than if you don't! :)

Tonight Ebbe and I enjoyed cinnamon pancakes with jam and whipped cream and just cozed up in the couch together all evening.. <3

And some extra love goes out to my collegue Sara who's made me laugh - hard and long - all day! :) And is apparently a kick ass secret-keeper.. We'll see about that. ;)

Everyday he packs his new and beloved bag with the same stuff before we head off to daycare. A book, a pacifier and his teddy. The proud look he has on his face when he carries it around is just adorably priceless! <3 It must be the same feeling as when I get a new pair of flashy Nikes or just slip on my 12cm heel Vivienne Westwood at home just cause I feel like it. ;)

Sleepless in Gothenburg. It's 2.57 am and I'm wide awake. And have been for a while. Got up, had some yoghurt and some green tea. Checked out the newest collection of NIKE online. Checked Facebook (zzzz..). Sorted out some planning in my calender. It's strange cause the last few days have been just like this. I wake up ready to go. Not sleepy at all. After like three hours.. No wonder my eyes are more red than Santa's hat in the morning. Yes yes I know. S t r e s s. Yup. Been there done that know the signs. What to do though? Work is as it is and things needs to get done. Always. Preferably yesterday. Seriously I need to run a huge company in the future so I myself can make sure that the planning is of the kind that I'd like it to be. Or actually, better up, just own it and have someone do it for me. See now that sounds like a great idea already. ;)
